Gordon is producing the sixth CD for Beyond The Pale - June 5, 2008
Beyond The Pale is in the process of recording their 6th CD. Production and engineering are being done by Gordon McLeod at his McLeod Nine Studio. Gordon also plays fiddle, guitar, mandolin and clarinet in the band. The CD is scheduled to be completed by September 2008.

Gordon's Song "Dog Year" wins First Place in the Americana Music Festivals' New Traditions Song Contest - February 13, 2008
Gordon's song " Dog Year" won first place in the Nacogdoches Americans Festival's New Traditions Song Contest. Gordon will perform his songs on the main stage at the festival on April 12, 2008 along with legendary veteran Nashville songwriter David Olney and Austin roots band, The Gourds.
Christy McLeod's song "The Music Plays Me" also placed in the 2008 awards.
Gordon's song "Hester" won second place in this contest in 2006.
Gordon McLeod completes production of Shift's eponymous album - February 11, 2008
Gordon has just finished producing his first major project in his new studio facility in Garland, Texas. THe project was a full length CD project for the acoustic trio, Shift, a well known Dallas area group featuring award winning fiddler Jason Huntley, long time DFW area singer and guitarist, Emily Bryant , and Former Dublin based percussionist Craig Scotland.
Gordon's fiddle CD will be released in August 2008 - February 10, 2008
Gordon plans to release an instrumental CD of mostly fiddle music in 2008 as well. It will include many of his original compositions as well as favorite selections form the Irish, American and other world traditions.
